Two of the biggest events held at the Quiet Man Irish are of course (1) Saint Patrick’s Day & (2) The Spring Carnival racing festival.
These two events are exceptional when it comes to numbers of people visiting the venue.
Spring Carnival Racing Festival: The Quiet Man is situated within walking distance to the famous Flemington racetrack and it is necessary to extend the pub to the street to facilitate customers.
There are live bands indoors and outdoors, food and drink stalls on the street in fact every facility available to ensure patrons have a great time. The doors open at 8.00a.m on the main racing days and customers kick-start their day with a good hearty Irish breakfast.
Saint Patrick’s Day: On the 17th of March the Quiet Man Irish Pub is the only place to be.
We once again extend the party to the streets and have music, face painting, children’s entertainers, food/ drink stalls and the venue is the focus for T.V. and newspaper photographers. In the evening the children head off home and more contemporary bands
take stage.
